Dubai: Finally it's not just Abu Dhabi getting their fair share of bands. Dubai may well get to see one of the world's top rock acts during Dubai
Bike Week in February next year.
An inside source has told Gulf News that Canadian rockers Nickelback will hit Dubai Bike Week, which runs from February 4 to 6.
When contacted, organisers Live Nation declined to comment.
The band - famous for such hits as How You Remind Me and Gotta Be Somebody - ranks as the 11th-best-selling music act of the 2000s, and places as the
2nd-best-selling foreign act in the US behind The Beatles for the 2000s.
Nickelback is tipped to be one of two international acts to perform at the yearly Bike Week. This year's acts included Deep Purple.
